In the search bar, enter a destination or tap it on the map. Follow the on-screen instructions to help Maps find your location. Tip: Point your phone camera at buildings and signs across the street, instead of trees and people. Once Maps knows where you are, you'll get directions through the camera view on your screen.

Step 1: Launch your Google Maps app or visit the website: maps.google.com. Step 2: Log into the Google account that is linked to the mobile number. Step 3: Click on the hamburger icon to load the app menu. Step 4: Select Your timeline, click the calendar icon, choose a date, and check its location history.

First, check location accuracy: Open Google Maps > check for blue dot, or tap bullseye icon > calibrate. Next, hold device right-side up > move device in a figure-8 motion until beam narrows. If problems persist, make sure you have the newest version of Google Maps installed and restart your device.
